I mean, considering Garen’s side was basically removing all free will, I wouldn’t call going with Darius “edgy”

I myself just find there to be more substance in Noxus lore and characters than in Demacian stuff.

Then again, My favourite champ is Kled, and he's just a stabby stabby guy, so what do I know?

I thought they were both horribly cliche and kinda lame... not as bad as edgelord Yasuo vs angel waifu Riven but still. Neither was likable... neither skin looked especially good to me and both of them are exaggerated cliches without much depth. I mean, I agree with you that the most edgelord champ will likely always win, because the playerbase of this game leans towards the edgelord weeb demographic... but meh. Would Garen winning this pointless popularity contest have changed anything or mattered in any way? Not really.

I picked Darius for no other reason than the Wolf looked cooler than the glowing blueberry Lion. I don't much care that he won, it doesn't change shit. The reward is both lame AND useless. A summoner icon. Whoopdee fuckin' doo.

The Bilgewater event that gave GP a new base skin has so far been the ONLY event that actually kinda mattered in any way whatsoever.

Ooooor... Darius was genuinely a better rewarding choice. Doggos over lions. All day. Every day.

Fire demon Yasuo also had better rewards. Also ever since lee-sin ive been sick and tired of riot warping champions existing personalities and turning them into arrogant fragtards... At least Darius stayed true to himself.

I don't know, I think willingly supporting a fascist dictator whos end goal is Omnipotence and eternal repression of free will with the enforced servitude of all mankind (the ones who survive his arbitrary judgment) Would be a pretty edge lord stance to take.

I hate GK garens personality, I hate the hypocrisy of it. I don't care if visual he is not as edgy, his end goal and his actions make him the greater of two evils imo.

The both suck as people how ever. Like seriously both options are dicks.
