Earlier surrender in featured gamemode

I've played a few games of different featured gamemodes now and one thing that has bothered me is that let's say a gamemode like URF doesn't have an option to surrender a bit earlier. Since some gamemodes will be shorter in duration i think you should add the option to surrender at like 15 minutes or so. However I really dont know what kind of consequences it could have to the game if it even has any. I just personally find it extremely frustrating tha when im salty and am not playing well and there is just no chance of winning the game i can't surrender a game mode earlier on a shorter gamemode. Keep in mind this is just an idea so let me know on how to improve the idea to make it applicable to the game or just reasons why it wouldnt be applicable to the game.
