Play Twisted Treeline

Before the game mode gets removed I would strongly recommend trying out a few games of Twisted Treeline. I had personally never really played the mode before they announced its removal at the end of the season. But a few weeks ago I decided to play a few games of it on a whim. It is honestly some of the most fun I have had with this game in a while. The games feel more fast paced, and like they have more comeback potential than summoners rift. There is a huge amount of potential to solo carry a game even if the rest of your team is behind. It feels like there is constant action at all stages of the game. I tried it out, and I had a ton of fun. I wish it wasn’t getting removed at the end of season, but if you have not played it before I would recommend trying it out before it gets removed.

unfortunately, riot won't care. TT has a playerbase in the hundreds of thousands or even millions, but it's not a worthwhile "investment" to them, despite having never done anything for the mode in the first place

even if all 900 viewers here played it, they'd still get rid of it, just like Dominion

I really enjoy the mode and the music there is the best I am a fan and if it really is that bad as they claim then they should actually do some changes since they barely ever did

It's the gamemode where the balance isn't completely fucked so riot has to remove it, sorry, NO FUN ALLOWED!

Oh yes, I played this mode with some friends and it was a very fun time!

Tried it for the first time the other day with two other friends, but we got matched with a team of bots and a Kayle . Poor guy just gave up in the end :(

It seemed like a fun gamemode though, and I'm sad to hear that it's getting removed.

Not sure about other servers, but in a 'smaller' server like OCE, they restrict the times we can play. They say this is to allow queue times to be shorter since people playing Twisted Treeline would be more concentrated in the weekends, but as far as I know all it does is heavily decrease the incentive to play/practice a gamemode that just isn't as readily available. I used to play the shit out of Twisted Treeline, but whats the point anymore when they don't balance much of it AND restrict when its available?

After They announced removal I tried to play a game to see what it was like and I was literally the only non-bot in the game... Ill pass on playing again thanks __

Meh I am sad it's getting removed but at the same time I am really sick of the current version of TT.

I really wish Riot would have just made changes along the way to it making it fun. But in it's current form I dislike it anyways so I will not miss it. At least until sometime down the road. But when they change the map only a handful of times over all these years..... this feeling is bound to happen.

i used to level up by spamming trynd in TT and abusing the fuck out of all the bots

not sure why i stopped

Meh when you understand the meta it becomes disgustingly linear

Cheini9/16/2019, 1:31:18 PM1 votes

^ then don't, games where everything is chaos are way cooler right ;p

still, it is a good idea to think it over before playing cause the map itself and the number of players change the strengths and weaknesses of the champions - there are some specific guides with champion rates and metas, probably more active atm as these are the last weeks of tt

else.. it is more or less a different game, using the main format of league - if you like it, play while you can! just remember that the elo is completely screwed up... and don't count it like aram, cs is gold, lanes are xp etc
