Arcane Comet, PTA, Electrocute or Conqueror? Could you guys explain WHEN to take which rune, and against which champion for example? There are so many options...

And why are so many people suddenly ditching Comet for PTA, when a few months ago everyone hated PTA on Camille cause it didn’t apply on her second Q?

And what specific rune should you take when against eh... Garen or Darius? Arcane Comet for poke in lane or PTA/Conqueror for longer face-to-face trades?

As a Camille main I'll be glad to help. People usually take Electrocute on bruisers because they got used to playing their assasins, so it's not a surprise to see a lot of first time Camille players taking electrocute on top lane.

PTA is her best keystone because she can go full tank while having sweet sweet bonus damage from all sources, and it counters Conqueror in the laning phase, it will also help you with delaling with other match ups that are melee based(except , that's a death sentence for ya). So going as LTA Camille will give you an advantage over Conqueror or other PTA lane match ups. Plus taking sorcery as a secondary(basically precision preset page has EXACTLY all the masteries you need) will turn Camille into a hyperscaling beast. Go with because it's active stacks PTA. I suggest going PTA into these match ups: Despite PTA being her best keystone right now it still suffers against lane bully match uos, or champions who will completely negate your AA and QQ combo's like . Meanwhile is a 50-50, depends on who get's the early lead first. Mostly likely he will AA range you to desth if you both have PTA. For Garen you will need PTA definetly but I also suggest taking as a situational item against him, considering how much both PTA and synergize well.
Arcane comet is a perfect laning keystone, with resolve it's what originally brought Camille into Top meta again on the first place. It synergizes extremly well with her W and E(E giving you guaranteed Comet hit on mobile champions), that's the main purpose of Comet in the laning phase - safe pokes, burning enemy out, and have lane dominance. And who burns out quickly in the lanung phase? Squishy Targets. Comet also deals decent damage afterwards and is a good execution tool(especially against squishy targets since comet will ought the job if your combo doesn't, you can see a video on youtube called camille.com for gameplay view on that one). It's good to take for more AoE damage besides Arcane Comet and your W. Since squishier enemy laners will also be bullies, also suggest with bone plating and second wind.

Take Comet in these match ups: However, don't even consider taking Comet against Top because his passive shield will absorb it like if it were nothing. The only when comet wouldn't go down to waste in this match up is to go QQ first and then W(because going E and Q first will have your E proc it and would get absorbed). and are easier match ups with different keystones, but still optimal against the two nonetheless(deals better with than it does with tho, or it's just my personal experience). It's scaling burst is what makes it good on her, same goes for assasins who use it. It's good vs. Squishier targets, a LOT. Let's say vs on early levels. I do have a LOT of custom keystone builds on her but I won't post them unless you want me to. However I will mention only one now for the sake of and match ups. Can help sometimes tank out combo if you only get to E her, then you can retaliate her and try evening the trade with her. Aftershock. Ask no futher. Just do it, you'll find out why when you do.

Camielle has a 100% chance to hit the comet which is pretty valuable, I'm not a Camielle player but that seems like the best option for me, you got true damage in her kit already, Conq doesn't synergise as well due to that fact

Although, with upcoming Electrocute changes(with significantly decreased CD), I might even give Electro Camille on top lane a try again.
