Why do people turn retarded in ranked?

When you get autofilled, you get autofilled. Sure you can ask for a different position and negotiate, but you don't autolock another person's position and go 0/4 with warlord's Annie. Why do I get these types of games? This is plat-diamond mmr. I expect people to have a brain.
