Fiora Vitals balance change
I want to preface this by saying fiora is one of my favorite champions(both both before and after the rework), and that I've been playing the game since it was release to the NA servers, so I feel my perspective on this is valid. Even if the specifics might need something else to them.
That said, can you please have her vitals surround the target in 3rds, rather than 4ths? Some numbers might need to be changed because it's easier to capitilize on them(fair enough), but I don't think it is good gamplay for enemy champs to hug walls to prevent fiora players from hitting that last vital. This is especially important, now that her base stats are weaker and her ult gives longer duration based on hitting these vitals. With the vitals split into 3rds, this would immediately fix that problem.(barring some edge-cases, which I would consider much more valid counterplay.) There are other ways to fix this issue(some sort of displacement on one of her abilities, or the ability to move through units, etc...), but this is a much simpler change than the rest of them. And honestly, this is a big enough annoyance to me that I'm actually probably not going to play Fiora until the change happens, and I have a bad feeling it might be quite a few patches before this issue gets resolved.
I'm going to go into detail as to why this "wall-hugging" is bad counter-play, but that's the short of it. [First of all, counter-play is separated into two parts; knowledge counterplay, and action counterplay. Action counterplay is where something you do during the ability itself will prevent it from working properly. A good example is nidalee's spear; dodging/blocking the spear makes it deal no damage. In some cases, both knowledge and action is required. Using nidalee's spear again, a knowledgable player might decide to move closer to nidalee to prevent the extra damage, rather that trying to dodge the spear. Finally, some counterplay is based on knowledge alone. this "wall-hugging" would be counted as one of these cases. To be fair, there are other cases where knowledge counterplay is fair; knowing the range on a warwick ultimate is a fair case of counterplay. However, usually these cases are with champions with low counterplay potential in general(both with the counterplay they have, and the counterplay they allow), or more importantly, this counterplay occurs BEFORE the champion who is getting countered has to risk themselves.(A warwick does not has to worry about fighting an enemy who is out of range of ult, usually.) With fiora's passive however, this "wall-hugging" takes it one step worse; it's also random when it works. Every time you enter a fight with a person, after the first vital, the second vital could appear anywhere. Therefore, there is at least a 1 in 4 chance(if not more) that a vital will appear towards something you can't get around. This all culminates to a single reoccurring issue that I will now illustrate; Fiora sees a vital is close to her, and no junglers incoming. She decides to fight the target, cause with pots and ult, she thinks she'll win it. She walks up to hit the first vital, and sees the second one is away from her, and so hits her ult. The enemy starts running.(or a lot of other things, but we'll keep it simple for the example) She procs 3 hits with her q and her 2 autoattacks.(due to the Q and E getting her them). However, the enemy sees the last vital, and decides to flash to the wall(the further one, since we are assuming fiora was smart and hit the one closer to the wall.) Fiora now just gets to try whacking the enemy. She MIGHT win, but she won't get her ult heal, or her last passive hit, EVEN IF SHE FLASHES FOR IT, because of the wall. Without her ult, it's even worse. She hits a vital, the enemy moves toward the wall that is close the vital that randomly appeared, conveniently close to the wall. Then even if she flashes and/or lunges for it, there is the chance the next one/two will ALSO be hugged by the wall. ] In conclusion, this is a low-risk, high-reward knowledge-based counterplay with random elements for the fiora.(which just doesn't feel right aesthetically) Enemies who use it prevent fiora from doing anything but just hitting them with melee attacks, and it happens most often after fiora has fully committed to the attack. And worse of all, it happens randomly, for both parties involved. By making the vitals into 3rds, this "Wall-hugging" would be largely prevented. Please make some sort of change to help prevent this unfair mechanic.
TL;DR Make vitals into 3rds, prevent exploitable "wall-hugging" of fiora's passive.
