Current Meta State

First and foremost I apologize in advance for typing a long message that you'll have to read over being an employee for Riot Games. I recommend considering sending this to your supervisor and someone who can hopefully get things done and make immediate changes into the live servers after reading this message in full. I don't seem to understand the reasoning behind the removal of a lot of critical strike items from the game and as to how removing banner of command would benefit the state of the game. I honestly feel as if this patch was a huge mistake as to changes to critical strike items. I think that the game would benefit from having some changes to critical strike items however when the highest win rate on champion.gg for supports is katarina and the highest win rate is mordekaiser for bot, i think there is a problem with the state of the game. If I'm being honest I don't think that this is a complaint it's more of an issue for mainly a lot of players that I am sure have expressed how they feel about all the changes on this patch and how it is negatively impacting people who have played a lot of marksmen for years upon years. When you look towards pro play on a team like Cloud 9 you immediately think of Jensen, Sneaky, and Smoothie from the last split as the most dominating in their main role, however when you see things being played like taric and nunu between mid/jungle and karthus/nunu between mid and jungle this is definitely an issue when you see all three of those players being benched more than likely due to them not wanting to conform to this meta. I don't know what you can do to really change this meta that seems appropriate for being able to put out on another patch but what I can say is that I think the changes to most marksmen items is definitely something that should be reconsidered to be changed back to what it was. Realistically looking at how the game has been changed within the past year we have seen a lot of magic resist items removed or changed to give less magic resist for more gold. So looking at that and seeing that there aren't a lot of good choices in game for magic resist when mages are dominating the meta definitely raises a red flag to me to say this is not a good place to be in. Like to look from my point of view in this very large essay and completely understanding my frustration and anger of all the changes over this entire patch, I went from seeing normal marksmen in the role that I played on a normal day to day basis to seeing other champions in bottom lane that aren't ever normally there on this patch specifically. I decided that I didn't like the meta so I would either move away from playing the game or that I would mainly move up towards a different lane and start playing different things until the meta was changed back. So I moved up to top lane and then I had heard about banner of command being taken out of the game. So the game has honestly changed so drastically that I don't even enjoy playing the game anymore even for fun with friends. All that I am asking for the next patch is to at least consider that all the changes made to the critical strike items was a mistake and please please please please please try to do something to mitigate the damage to the community for most of the people who have played marksmen. I don't think as a company you guys thought out all the possibilities and consequences in full before moving this to live (yes I do know that is a very bold statement to make however I am sure that this entire long essay is going to be able to speak for most of the whole marksmen community saying not to change it back to the way it was but to make a change that doesn't make us feel like we were put in the dirt this patch for absolute no reason). Another potential option would be to buff the marksmen items after just throwing some dirt on the items and saying they are worth more now.
