Can we get rid of Sudden Death on Blitz?

I've played a lot of Blitz games, and rarely do they make it to 18 minutes. Of the games that are ended by sudden death, nobody finds it satisfactory.

In a game mode where most matches are 1-sided super stomps that are over before 10 minutes, why must the good games with closely matched teams be forcefully ended by Sudden Death?

Players finally make it to late game with their fantasy build, and before they really get to enjoy pitched battle, the game is over. It's lame.
