A Way To Mute Pings In Game

I still dont understand why Riot doesnt have this option. I just came out of a game where our support lost us the game, not by feeding, but pings. You might think im exaggerating but this guy thought it was a great idea to sit back in base for 10 mins pinging every player on the team and there was NOTHING we could do about it. We could have even pulled a W if it was a 4v5 or even if he fed but this was worse than that somehow. And this isnt the only problem... sometimes you want to ignore the pings of the one guy who pings every objective until its taken... but you cant. Other times its someone trying to ping you to back off a 1v1 because THEY dont think a 10-0 camille can towerdive a 0-7 yasuo, and sure enough that turns out to be the case because PING PING PING PING PING until you die. The worst part is theyll type the "I told you to back off" as if they were SUCH a big help after. This just really tilts me and i hope other, including RIOT agrees so please give me some feedback on the idea.
