Kayle's Replacement

Is it just me, or is Taric meant to more or less replace Kayle? Kayle's been mostly balanced around her power warping ultimate of immediate immunity. They're making it healthier in a way by giving it a warning flare, and making Taric mostly better in every other fashion than Kayle. This reminds me of Thresh and Blitzcrank, where instead of making Blitzcrank a legitimate champion because it'd remove his identity, they just made a brand new one with a mechanic more in line with what they wanted, and made the rest of their kit way better to compensate.

(For anybody that doesn't know, Kayle's passive just took a brutal nerf on the PBE, fyi.)
