MS Spikes

After LoL's recently update, I have been getting constant MS spikes (Going from 60-70 MS to a sudden 2k-3k for about 5 seconds). I understand that I am running off wifi, but this has never happened to myself or any of my friends who play LoL as well, we all have been getting this sudden MS change. Anyone else noticing/having this happen to them as well? Really getting on my nerves, lol.
