Does anyone know whats going on with the Honor System?

Do people even honor anymore?

I mean i know some people do because I still receive it after games but I mean it seems a lot of people do not use it because I never see anyone with honor crest and ribbons.

When the system came out I 1st got the Red ribbon for Honorable Opponent. Then it later changed to Green for Great Teammate. Then it changed to Yellow for Great Leader and eventually turned back to Green.

It has remained Green ever since. Ive never had the Blue ribbon.

Ok so that leads me to this post.......for at least over a year I have noticed that I am always the only one on the load screen with any ribbon at all. Until earlier today........because I never see anyone else with them it stood out to me that someone else had the Green ribbon. This is the 1st person other than me i have seen in over a year.

So where is everyone's honors?

Why are people not getting their ribbons?

When it 1st came out almost everyone had some sort of ribbon but now its like no one has them.

I do know that if a player was punished by tribunal then they lose their crests...............even though tribunal is in the dumps i would assume the same remains for anyone punished by the current punish system. But that doesnt explain everyone else. Im pretty sure not everyone is out there getting punished are they?

It seems like to me Riot has completely forgot about the honor system. It has been out for years and no changes. This is a comment i found when the system came out

"Your total Honor represents your ongoing commitment to making games better for your fellow summoners. It’s not a currency, and you can’t spend it – we’re going to experiment with some potential bonuses to being an honorable summoner in the future."

Ok well its been years later...what are the bonuses? Other than getting a graphic visual pop on your screen when you 1st achieve it and having a ribbon on your load screen there has been nothing.

Well this post was longer than i thought it would be really im just wondering are there any plans on changes to the system or actually getting rewards to people who still have and maintained their ribbons for years?
