Riot do something about players not connecting
Firstly I recognize that it is certainly possible to win a 4v5 game, however, let's be completely honest the probability of winning 4v5 is dog poop overall (probably 20% at best).
Riot always talks about how they try to fix the game so that it's not a bad experience for players to have to deal with certain things. Well let me tell you there's almost nothing worse than losing because one guy didn't connect. It's actually even worse if you lose on the team of 5. In fact even playing on the team of 5 can get frustrating because half of the time your team dicks around because they assume its a free win, and then the game gets dragged out to ridiculous lengths because one guy got fed. If your team didn't fuck around the chance of the team of 4 winning would probably be even less let's say 10%?
In a game where the early game laning makes a huge impact on the flow of the game it makes absolutely no sense to start a game if all the players have not connected. Riot needs to implement the same system Counterstrike has. It is an amazing system. For those of you who don't know: there is a warmup round for 5 minutes for everyone to connect, and if someone doesn't connect the game simply doesnt start. It's nice beacuse you don't have to stare at a loading screen, and if someone does not connect they simply get a loss and timeout. Personally I think for 2 or 3 minutes running around the map with all zeals to start the game off would not only be a TREMENDOUSLY more fun use of time than staring at a loading screen, but it would help me get the inner troll out and quench my desire to build stupid shit for fun with 0 consequences.
Riot's statement on 4v5's are something to the effect that ya they suck balls but in the end it balances out and doesn't affect your rating, but that's not the point. The point is they literally suck to play for both teams really.
