What does Riot think about adc role right now?

Ok so there is like hundreds of reddit posts about how weak adc role is but Riot never really answered if they are planning to do anything about this role. I really dont care if role is up or not i just want to know Riot's opinion and if they are planning to change something (and maybe when?).
