Yasuo Rework Ideas

Just heard about Yas getting a small rework soon. I don't play him except in featured game modes but I figured I play against him enough and from what I can tell the rework is coming more to make his opponents hate him less than to make his mains like him more, so with that in mind I've got an idea. I will say that maybe his shield passive and E need a little tweaking because they are annoying but I honestly have no idea what I'd do with those. His Q and R are just fine in my opinion, especially after the recent nerfs to his Q stack time. But as for his W, boy is that thing toxic, just let me stop all projectiles for a few seconds here, so frustrating, and this is from a guy who mains almost all melee champs. I did have a neat idea for a new W though, it'd be similar in use, but far more fair, and in my opinion more awesome as well. How about instead of a wind wall, a wind slash directed in a direction, similar to Fiora's riposte only with a much shorter channel time, like 0.2 seconds or so, and any projectiles he hits with it could be reflected or maybe absorbed and a wind blade could fire out with damage based on what got absorbed. I feel like this sort of ability would not only be so cool to play with due to all the crazy outplays, but it's also be much more fun to play against as a ranged champ as Yas wouldn't just be able to put up a Nope wall for 4 seconds and make you useless. Anyways that's my 2 cents let hear what you guys think.

I don't mind wind wall at earlier levels. I just walk around it. lategame when it's the span of a lane and a half every 10 seconds is when it starts getting obnoxious.

As a yas main i have some reasonable ground to stand on and i think thats actually a great idea i think also maybe it should also have a large slow or stun if blocking a stun or other hard cc. But too offset this i think that yas doesnt need very much damage in that ability honestly his crits do just fine i dont want to see his damage go through the roof by blocking an ult. What i like about this iteration of the wind wall is to use it on a key piece of cc and i think that would make it much more tactical to use then just blocking an ability that would probably do the damage of 1.5 autos or less.

Alternatively it could be fun to do the damage idea but i feel like it needs some way to cover up the weakness of his inablity to fight ranaged champions with dashes. For instance the coolsest thing to do with yasuo in my opinion is dance around the windwall with dashes to fight multiple people at once. Now that may be what is considered toxic but if that is taken away from him it also takes away some of the higest skill cap things you can do with him making him less skillful and severely nerfing his ability to fight multiple opponents which is part of the reason he was built.

So in conclusion after all my complaints i think that while it is a cool idea there needs to be something extra to compensate for his now inability to fight multiple opponents. Now this idea might sound broken but i wanted to at least throw this out there maybe yas could have a version where once he casts one wind strike he can cast another within idk like 5 sec. Sorry for the idea spam i just really want to do whatever i can to help riot not destroy this champion. Idk maybe these ideas are terrible but thank you for reading anyway.

I'm a little bit of a maniac for cool, complex and detailed animations and every blood, sweat, and tears that go into the work of creating such a dazzling appearance spectacle. But I can't keep it for myself, so. I would love an update/rework animation of his ultimate, something more worthy of a samurai, more specifically, IMO, I would prefer a more depicted look of the classic cut through and the sword goes back in the scabbard slowly until snaps in and the damage is applied. The opening will be yasuo going untargetable and multi slices are done to every champion caught in his ult, landing back to his original position and slides his sword in the scabbard like I described earlier.

This is just an idea I gave it thought, the perfect example that got to my mind when I was thinking about this was when I searched for a game that depicted this move in its perfect exuberant glory and then I found this. I would like to hear from you what do you think? Is it bad? Is it a rip-off?
