Did anyone else ever notice this?

For jax's E, his counter strike " Jax enters a defensive stance for up to 2 seconds, blocking all basic attacks and reducing area of effect abilities by 25% for the duration." I never realized that it reduces AOE damage... also that cc'ing him while he's doing it doesnt stop him from dodging.. lol
