Anivia support

Scream of my soul.

I saw many different videos in style "Sudden support champions" and some champions who were not originally intended for the role of support are now playing support. Like Annie, Brand, Zyra, Nautilus and etc. I'm very surprised when players start to flame at my choice of Anivia support. Why??? Why they have such a negative and why no one sees in it the power of support? I personally do not perceive it as the middle line, I always play support and she is wonderful. [P.S. 'support' is my main role]

Beginning with the **passive **skill it allows you to lure opponents, because many forget about him and in an attempt to take the first blood - they themselves give the first blood. So this skill often saves from death, i.e. The enemy does not receive gold and experience. Not dying support is good support.

Q: This is the ability to mass stun that controls the movement of enemies even without stunning. Opponents try to leave the line of flight of this skill, so you can get an advantage and use it.

W: For support is improved by the second in the queue. Oh these walls! How many flashes were burned, and often also chairs! Excellent control skills! This skill opens up wide opportunities for the control of opponents. In group battles allows to separate opponents (especially in narrow passages) and wrap the course of the battle aside 1v5, 2v5 and etc. Does not allow to run away to the enemy, does not allow the enemy to catch up with the ally, this skill can even interrupt other skills! This skill is very underestimated. In the hands of professionals, it turns the outcome of the battle, and even the match in their favor. If the shooter has other control skills, then along with Anivia's Q and W the opponent has almost no chance to escape - he is doomed to die. Like traps of Jinx or E of Vayne. Anivia+Vayne is deadly combo. With R to gain Anivia deals tons of damage to any champion! _[Tipe: Yasuo can use R if wall placed on champion and push him] _

E: Double damage if the opponent was stunned or hit the zone of full R. Q+E+auto-attack (with masteries greenfather's gift and thunderlord's decree) = tons of dmg in early game. Q+W+R+E+auto-attack = instant death for adc/apc/any other paper.

R: Another control skill that controls opponents without even getting into them. In group battles deals tons of damage and slows opponents. This skill allows you to protect the tower from any number of minions, as well as protect it even when playing with a superior opponent (If the bottom is crushed).

For the damage is enough only Liandry's Torment and Sorcerer's shoes. This will instantly kill any paper Champion like adc. This support is not afraid adc. Tear of the Goddess and Catalyst of Aeons allows you to quickly restore mana and health. It is often enough to buy only these two items. Anivia perfectly controls the movement of enemies and adapts the situations to her side. Everything else I wrote in the skills comments or forgot.

Most importantly I want to say - this champion is very underestimated in the role of support (like wards for bronse xD) Spellthief's Edge in the recommended subjects will pay attention to this role of Anivia, but this is already a dream. I have support thinking and I see many aspects of support from other champions, so I hope that one day Anivia will take a respectable place as a support together with other champions and my allies will stop scolding me for my choice.

Pls "like" it, i rly want others to know about it.

google translate, because Americans are known for their friendliness, unlike the toxic people of my country

anivia support is good if you know how to play her, anivia + vayne is a good combo. Don't worry bout flamers, just keep supporting! <3

Annivia support can definitely work, yeah her Q is a bit slow but she is such a great zoning mage, can create her own picks (Use the ice wall to cut off low enemy botlane from escape, or use the icewall to trap in the Jungler who ambitiously came down to gank yall).

Anivia isn't a bad support but it's by no means ideal with the others available. You don't have the damage of a zyra or brand while also lacking the utility of a karma or lulu. The Q travels way too slow to really ever stun anyone. The wall is great but you have to level it up to really be useful meaning you then lose out on early damage and stun duration.

Really the only one that remains strong is a duo with a Vayne on voice. Wall + condemn into Q is always just ridiculously strong.

Very high mana costs but I guess if you start coin and get an early tear than sightstone it would work.

Pretty much any game I play support Anivia, we win.

I liked your argument.

Though people forget, once upon a time, Anivia was once listed by Riot as possessing a support secondary role [along with some other unusual "supports" (as we may regard them now) such as Gangplank, Ashe(!), Syndra, Fiddlesticks, Heimderdinger and Nunu].

If a champion can provide protection for his or her adc and allow that team's ADC to get ahead of the enemy ADC/support in lane, then it can be a potential support champion. This is one of the reasons that every now and again we see Diamond+ players, who are willing to consider the Elises, Camilles, Kennens, Miss Fortunes, Zacs and Annies as potential candidates for the support role.

The catch however is twofold: (1) Does the support player actually play the champ as an support and do so properly? (2) Does the ADC know how to work with that particular champion in lane? If either one is not the case, then the testing of the champion in the support role may well fail.
