The New Queue

I really didn't want to do this post or be "that" guy, I really didn't. Ugh lets get it over with.

I just got back from playing 4 games (out of the 10 I tried to get into) with the new Champion Select.....personally, I'm not a fan of it. _ (I'm saying as nicely as I can.)_

I get that Riot is trying to improve Team Work by having players log in into a random match with another team & strategize on how your team works together.......IF BOTH TEAMS ACTUALLY DO THIS! This new queue is just like a revamped Blind Draft/Rank mode, & if no one picks there Champion when this 35 second timer hits 0 OR banns a Champion then BAMM your back to waiting for another 2 to 4 min waiting to find another game. That's why I NEVER played the Blind draft/Ranked queues. This timer is a easy thing that people can take advantage of very easily to just mess with other people, when the "old" queue you can just pick your lane, role & Champion & search for a whole team & then just wait (maybe just as long) but when you find a team you didn't have to worry about someone not picking anything & you get send back to searching.

This topic is a bit of a nick-pick: if someone on the enemy Team picks a Champion YOU wanted to play as then you cannot play as that Champion, that is a minor irritation. But not being able to play as the Champion I wanted to play as because an enemy Player is playing the same Champion makes it frustrating. For example I tried to Play for 5 games.....I was only able to play her in 2 games cause someone either picked her before me, she got banned or when I do finally get her someone on either team doesn't pick anything then I'm sent back to Match Searching. Now that is a real turn off in my book.

In the "old" queue you can simply pick the Champion you want to play as, which part of the Map you want to be in & you get to choose your role. quick & simple. But with the new queue you have to pick from 2 Roles you want & hope you get the Role you really want to play as, I main Bottom Support but I like to play the other roles & Map locations. So not being able to actually pick the which part of the Map you want to be in & what Role you want & just have to see & wait where the dice land is not a very good mechanic to me personally.

Now I know that this is just a brand new feature Riot just uploaded so there are gonna be a glitch, bugs or issues here & there, but from personal experience I'm not really digging this new Queue. I'm not trying to be critical about this, I'm just posting my own experience of this new feature hoping that folks at Riot might stumble across this & take notes on what they could do to tweak this or simply make it possible to allow players to use the "old" queue system.
