So...
How does this impact Mikael's Crucible and Righteous Glory?
I know Mikael's active has a better heal and removes CC but its on a long cooldown. Any support mage with a shield is going to get more uses out of Athene's passive. Can we do something with Mikael's to actually make it worthy of consideration? Perhaps change the active to an AoE heal/CC removal centered on the support. A powerful active like that would at least merit the cooldown and would be ideal on Tank Supports.
Unique Active: Removes all stuns, roots, taunts, fears, silences and slows on nearby allies (same range as Locket) and heals nearby allies 50 + 5% of maximum health (180 second CD). [This is an example. An AoE heal could be oppressive if the numbers are off.]
I almost never build Righteous Glory as it was a mere 600 gold less than the RoA stat stick. I know it has a decent active, but its always felt a bit lackluster when compared to Talisman or the raw stats of RoA. The AP is still going to outshine Righteous Glory, even if it was reduced by 20. Do I go with 60AP that will be 100AP in ten minutes, or do I go with a hard engage item that will be available every 90 seconds? Reliable or aggressive situational? If Righteous Glory behaved more like Talisman, in that it could be used defensively, that might be a harder decision.
Unique Active: Grants +50%MS to nearby allies for 3 seconds. After 3 seconds a shockwave is emitted, slowing nearby enemy champions MS by 50% for 1 second (90 second CD). [I'm also fine with an entirely different active that has more uses beyond "win harder".]
I mean, since we are going through the trouble of reworking their base components, can we please do a bit of rework on these two items.
