How To "Git Gud"?

Why hello there, random people. I have a large amount of things I want to say here, so I am sorry if I get a bit off-topic (I know most people won't bother to read this fully anyway though). First of all, I have a hard time finding a champion I really like. Unlike what seems to be the majority of players in this game, I have never had the moment where I found "that champion" - you know, when you find a champion you're really good with or really enjoy playing? I've been feeling down on myself recently in regards to my ability of playing this game; I'm Level 30 already yet there's just so much I don't know or fully understand, especially when it comes to jungling (my least favorite role). I believe most of my issues with finding a main is that there's just so many playable characters in this game; it causes me to get carried away, leading to me playing a champion one or two times before moving on to the next. As was stated before, I believe there are also many gameplay mechanics I have yet to fully understand. I have never been the carry of a match that wasn't a bot game, even if I was ADC. This is frustrating to me because I feel I should be good at the game. I have played my fair share of games, whether they be bots or normals, and I'm max level now. MAX level! And yet I either get "meh" or terrible scores. I have lost so many games and I just don't know what I'm doing wrong...

I believe I should summarize my League history here. I didn't start out playing the "noob" champions (Ashe, Garen, Ryze, etc.) like most people seem to have. Instead, I played champions pretty much based on how cool I thought they looked. Initially, I gravitated towards Swain. I loved his design and his concept and his kit just seemed so great to me. When I was first playing League, I was very scared of being yelled at. So I looked up as much information as I could about the game and played exclusively bot games until I was about Level 15. It was only until that level that I believed I finally had what it took to play normals. Needless to say, I sucked. And while I started to get a bit better, for a long time I had a bunch of matches that I had atrocious scores in, such as 3/12/3 or whatever. Its only recently that I've learned not to feed as often, but even then I still get pretty mediocre games often. I've been playing games with my brother (a Silver 2 Zed, Yasuo and Lucian main) recently and he's just so good, yet here I am going 0/3 with Hecarim jungle. Everyone's losing their lanes because I don't know opportune moments to gank and our team feeds REALLY hard, and then not even my Silver 2 brother can win the match for us, no matter how many kills he gets. Honestly, at that moment I was thinking of just uninstalling the game. I feel that, no matter how many matches I play, I'll never get better. Perhaps I'm putting too much blame on myself; after all, League is a team game. But when I get such awful scores, I can't just blame someone else for my faults.

TL;DR: Can someone help me "git gud" so I can actually win games and have scores I can be proud of?

Patience and reading between the lines are good. Always be open to learn. What helped me was watching enemies who stomped me with a certain champ; some of them have distinct playstyles and theirs, for that champ, might work for you in turn.

It comes with time honestly, that's all there really is.

Reads full thing out of spite

Tbh just keep practicing. You'll get better with time. Maybe watch some pro players? There's quite a few in-depth videos on youtube that you can learn from.

You will get better. You just need some friends who you can play with who are patient and can help you learn. I did really bad initially because I'm more of a hands on learner. I learn by doing it and making mistakes and then changing what I'm doing for next time but simply by watching videos I wasn't able to get the full effect and learn how to handle my champs. I also think that playing against the bots totally doesn't help people learn. Like, the basics, yes but after a few games with bots and once you get most of the mechanics you really have to play against real people to properly learn. The bots tend to be really predictable and the best way to learn is to play against real people, make some mistakes and learn from them.

They say an expert can't be an expert in his field until he's made all the mistakes that are possible to make. Something like that. Lol. Keep at it you'll find your champ.

The best way to improve is to just keep playing normals. Don't finish all your ranked placements as soon as you hit level 30. I tried it before and I lost all except 1, so I learned to be patient and practice :)
