Is the feeding random just a mechanic?

Seriously? I’ve been playing with a 4 man premade and a 3 man premade consistently lately and it’s like an 85% chance that the randoms we get feed. I’m not exaggerating at all. It’s over 85% of them just feed so hard that their lane overflows and over takes us all.
