If it wasn't for friends/Missions I wouldn't have played This week.

Every time I play I remember why I'm starting to hate this game so much. I used to love building some defense items, and figuring out what build I need to win the game. Now I just build 5x Damage Items and boots, I either kill them instantly or die instantly.

You know what happens when I try and build defense? I still die instantly but I don't get shit for kills, and I do shit for my team past my 1 second initiation.

For a game that I loved and promoted for 7 seasons, season 8 is sure a let down. When people ask me if I've played league or would recommend it I actually tell them not to play, because of how shit its balance has become. My exact words "You may as well play a first/third person shooter because its one shot one kill, except in the extremely low MMR's where they insist on playing overly complicated champions that they are terrible at playing."

I actually was excited to play with my old S1 friend that left the middle of last season because of his frustration with damage creep. He brought along two new players that I guess we scared away because I got a PENTAKILL. They saw me hit for half of each enemy champions health a hit with Morde, and I guess that scared them away from the game, because I killed Lee Sin in 2 hits while I was 1/10th HP because he had slower reflexes and I got the first hit off. So much for playing Lol with friends and new players...

What bothers me the most, is every time i do play with friends, since I am diamond, they ask me what they should build. My answer is always just build w/e will give you the most damage, cdr, and penetration. No other stats matter, if you can't one shot them, and they are building damage, no amount of defense will stop them from killing you first. Last season and every season before I would have given you a different answer depending on the enemy team comp, and champion being played, and etc... now I do legit just tell them to "build damage, react faster"

The next thing that bothers me is when those lower rank players ask me for a strategy. You know what I say? "Just kill the fuck out of them until they Rage quit. You know what I used to say? Split push, farm, group, etc... Now it is legit, just kill them till they RQ...

Riot, I implore you, buff defenses so that we can have an actual "strategy game", and not just a first punch wins shit show.
