Help with learning Azir?

Before I ask this, please don't say that I shouldn't play Azir because he's too hard; I just want to have for the most part in this game but win at the same time.

With that being said, however, Azir is notably a very mechanically difficult champion to play, but has amazing advantages once learnt. I do have some problems which I would seriously appreciate any help with.

I often end up running out of mana in lane though which annoys me.

Also, I find that in order to command his soldiers to attack, Azir needs to be within a certain range of them and I often find myself way too close to the enemy in teamfights to attack. But if I'm too far away it's hard to attack/reposition with the soldiers. How do I stand in the right place?

Also, in lane, am I meant to freeze the wave in front of my tower or push it all the way into the enemy tower? And which one is better to deny CS?

In skirmishes, I always set up double soldiers, get them to dash to an enemy, AA 2 or 3 times, and the enemy is on extremely low health but just escapes, any way to secure the kill?

Finally, what exactly should I be doing in teamfights? Like, should I do the insec play or poke first and then do it?

Any answers to any questions would be extremely appreciated. Thanks.

I main the champ. Azir takes a lot of practice and I mean a lot. But it's rewarding to learn. I made a post a long time ago about the things one should be thinking about when playing Azir. I'll see if I can find that post later on. It was so long ago.

Azir is ridiculously easy to play. You must be trying to do too much ridiculously complex stuff if you're having problems. Get thunderlords, throw a sand soldier up in range of enemy, let them attack them, and if they run, make the sand soldier dash at them and attack them again. If they don't run, they'll just keep taking damage from sand soldier and you can run if they're coming at you. It's a ridiculously easy and safe tactic that requires very little skill.

I can only assume you're trying some insane crap like double sand soldier on each side of the enemy, charging in for the damage, ulting to knock them away, and having sand soldiers dash at them for more damage. If you're doing anything too complex, yeah, I can understand why you're having problems. Just do the simple stuff. It's incredibly safe, easy, and powerful.
