What am I doing wrong?

At the end of the game I always end up having the least damage dealt to champions. I main support and jungle so its normal that i don't have the most, but one of my last games i had more kills than the jungler and top laner, had 800 ap as a support (still building support items but it was an hour long game and i was full build so it all added up) and yet i ended up doing the least damage on my team (even less than half of the damage of the 2nd least) I know that my build is right. My kill particiation is usually around 50-60%. this is making me feel like im not a factor in the game anymore. Even when i play a tank; i play zac jungle. I build some ap and some tanky and i dont take the most damage nor do i deal the most even though when my bf plays him he always does the most damage. (i gank as much as him, usually have the same built and everything. I even learned how to play zac fom him so idk what's different.) When i play a tank im always full health even though im in the enemy's face, forcing them to attack me. i dont usually take the most damage when we have another tank/offtank

Is this bad? and how do i fix it? as i said im always there in team fights, have items with good amoutn of damage and high kill participation. and yet really bad damage

As support, your role is focused around utility, even if you build heavily in AP. Your goal is to dissuade the enemy team from going after your ADC or squishy mage, either by initiating on the enemy team (alistar/leona) or peeling. If your carries live longer then the enemy teams carries, you are doing your job right and helping your team win. Your damage is meaningless (most of the time) if you fail at that goal. As jungle, your goal is to help snowball your lanes with timely ganks so they can be strong enough to win teamfights or split push effectively while preventing the enemy jungler from doing the same. As a jungler, you can do that by building damage and trying to carry or by building tank and helping your teammates carry. Once again, your damage is not an indication of how well you are doing as a jungler. If you are 7/0/0, but the enemy jungler is 1/3/15, hes likely doing more to help carry his team then you are.
Damage is a funny thing. A Lee Sin can have the most damage on his team, but be completely unable to carry the game because he falls off in the late game. A tanky zac can have the lowest damage on his team, but have the initiation that ends the game. Don't focus on damage, focus on your impact.

It's not bad in itself, but it's a bit strange, and it may be a sign that something else bad is happening. But if you still win games, and if you feel like you did your job (warding, protecting the carries, setting-up good fights, etc.), I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Stats are just an indirect way to measure performance, they are not an end in itself. What's important is winning games (and having fun).

EDIT: had a quick look at your profile. As Soraka, the most important stat is not damage dealt or taken, but healing done. And as Lulu, or Taric, you can dish out a respectable amount of damage, but you can't see the amount of damage you shielded and the value of your speed buffs, so stats aren't everything.

Well how much damage are you doing to them?

Are you just killing them when they already have low health? Or in one quick burst? Sustain damage dealers with a lot of kills/assists usually have the most damage on a team assuming that everyone is relatively equal (no one person on your team is just far and away fed 22/0/18 compared to everyone else). Burst typically has slightly less because with sustained damage the enemy has opportunity to heal more without dying.

Support usually has the lowest damage dealt to champions no matter what followed by Jungle. As long as you are winning games I wouldn't worry too much about it, especially as support. If you feel like you are doing nothing to contribute even when you guys are winning you might want to consider playing different champions that may be more proactive (rather than more reactive ones) than what you may typically play.

50% kill participation on a support seems decent to me.
