Dynamic queue: Let Riot hear your thoughts.

So we all know that Riot decided to cancel solo queue and leave us with this dynamic queue for ranked.

I firmly believe that this is a terrible choice and I want us to group. To make ourselves be heard. Riot needs to accept that they made a mistake in changing ranked this way and that we wish to return to the old solo queue.

There can't be solo queue and dynamic queue at the same time because it would split LoL playerbase. Hence, I think we should just flat out remove dyamic queue and return to the old solo queue.

My thoughts on dynamic queue:

  • Ranked is not for having fun or playing with friends: As a very personnal thought, I believe that ranked is for taking the game seriously. I don't rank so that me and my friends go up the ladder, I rank because I want to see how good I am, if I wanted to play with more than 1 friend, I would go to normals and if I wanted a ranked experience with them, I could create a team. But not this.

  • Fill option = support.

  • Nobody plays support, this just makes the queue times so long

  • I have to pick support and hope that my other laners aren't going to feed: Since the waiting times are so long, I pick support and more often than not, my other laners just feed. A support's carrying potential reaches its limit very quickly and there's nothing that can be done after that.

  • People who are carried by other 3 teammates are a nuisance when they try to solo queue since they no longer have their party to carry them and their skill is not the adequate for that elo.

  • Two is the maximum number of players that should be permited to play ranked together

  • New ban system is actually really cool. If we could implement it in the older ranked Q it would be nice.

  • Extremely high waiting times: Waiting times are over 5+ mins long in platinum when trying to mid and over 20+ in higher levels. Seiously? In the older queue, yes, you could end up not having your main role, but at least you had a chance to get a first pick and get your lane, in here, if I want to take mid, I have to wait 5+ mins to have a 50/50 chance to get it.

Now it's your turn to express yourselves, write everything that you think regarding ranked queue until Riot hears us out. They have to listen their non professional playerbase.

Threads like this are irrelevant.

Riot will hear you in exactly two ways.

  1. Do not purchase RP. Ever. I don't care how cool the skin that was just released looks. Hit them in their pocketbook.

  2. Do not play ranked matches. By playing a ranked match, you are telling them "I am OK with this."

Actions speak louder than words. It's time to make our actions shout.

Dynamic queue is the worst thing added to this game since It's release. I don't remember a single thing that ruined the experience so much for me. And I'm here since Season1

If they don't remove it and bring back soloQ I'm done with this game, the RP and League of Legends community in general. I don't want to **group **, no one is going to force me to. As many others, I'm spreading the word of how shit Riot is. Most high elo players I know are just gone. Queue times on Diamond are close to 15min for me ATM, when they were 1-2min last season. Fuck that shit. Played my last game 5 days ago, not touching this shit again until changes happen

The champ select is fine, but I think it's ridiculous that full premades and solo players are in the same ladder.

I just wonder why nobody ever stopped during one of these board meetings about dynamic and removal/lying about solo Q and thought hmm wouldn't this effectively nuke our game from orbit in perspective of it being competitive or encouraging new talents? specially since that made us popular in the first place?

The new champion select introduced along with Dynamic queue should be kept; The stuff that enables you to group with more than 2 friends should go away.

It turned ranked from a contest of who was best at playing the game and carrying in the hectic chaos of solo queue into "who has more friends". Premades have superior communication, superior teamwork and rarely tilt on each other or start fighting amongst themselves. They have a huge edge in most matches. They're also REALLY prone to all flaming, blaming and reporting the one solo guy on their team if they DON'T do well. They are now in nearly EVERY game.

I've stopped playing ranked because of it. (Well, that and the horrid balance of the game right now). As someone who doesn't have a lot of friends that play the game as well Riot is basically telling me that I just plain matter less than that group of bros who 4 man queue every night. The game is no longer a test of individual skill... it's a test of who has the better premade on it. As someone who is never part of these premades... it means that 90% of my matches are decided entirely without me. It's certainly seen me reported a whole lot more though by angry premades who want a scapegoat for losing.

Dynamic queue is a terrible thing that Riot is probably FAR too stubborn to go back on. That or they just plain DON'T care about solo players. I'm not sure which is worse. It's just another thing making me want to give this game up for good.

I think this is an issue with Support in general, not so much dynamic queue. I wish I had the same carrying potential as the other roles, but riot keeps nerfing vision.

I can somewhat understand the queue times being long (Riot did royally mess up the procedure after all), but the queue estimate is just a bald faced lie. 2min estimate that goes to 15 mins.... how can an "estimate" be that bad? A wild guess is all they do. Plus, I suppose if Riot told the truth, then people would simply see the 10min. estimate and go play a different game altogether. I often do now....

My main problem with the new queue is that my wait times went from under a minute to 5 minutes at slow times and 2 minutes at peek times and that is in gold. It makes me not want to rank up because I know the queue times will get dramatically longer the higher up I go.

DynamicQ is one of those things where it's a great idea on paper, but horrible execution.

We expect everyone to get the roles they wanted, but in the end we get people trolling/feeding because they didn't get X role.

I hate DQ period.

Teambuilder was great because I could pick the exact role I wanted and I could choose a team that meshed well with the champ I wanted to play. I remember going on 15 game win streaks with jungle Yi (yes a certain teamcomp really makes him shine ;p)... Plus, teambuilder queue times were the same as SoloQ because there were no bans or champ select wait times. The dodges where easy to handle because you could simple join another team.

NOW oh my what horrible wait times. One dodge and I am easily waiting 30mins from the time I log-in until the time I start killing minions.....

I think we should mix dynamic and soloq...Have us pick if we want to play solo or dynamic ... if your que time is too long have an option to switch ques...or something like that... i like how you can pick roles now and that should stay but we really need to have a soloq option and be matched with other solo players...most of the time i end up paying with 3 or 4 premades that skype and don't ping me...tried using curse but most people don't have it or don't wanna voice chat...it's annoying as hell...

The new Champ select and Dynamic Queue are two different things.

... anyways, yeah, Dynamic Queue is horrible.
