Questioning Riot's Balance Team, and ricklessabandon
"the update is not intended to be a nerf to Akali." -Aesah
How did a "smaller scope rework" which was supposedly not intended as a nerf result in being such a heavy handed nerf that Akali has become the lowest win rate champion in 2/5 roles in the game. She previously was hovering around a healthy balanced 50-51% win rate with a 1.7% play rate. She's now at 41% wr. And the rework wasn't even intended as a nerf? How the hell did this make it to live? How was this not caught sooner? The Akali community told you for over a month that there were issues with the rework. Were you not listening? What happened? Were you too busy thumbing your noses at us thinking you knew better? How the hell can you expect us to trust your judgment again when you were so far off from your own goals? Why hasn't there been any communication with the Akali community throughout this process? Where are the red posts? I posted a question in the assassin update reddit ama and wasn't answered then either. I think Riot's balance team and rickless owe an apology to the Akali mains. In a mini rework aimed with Akali mains in mind you have neglected to keep us informed of your vision or your goals with our treasured ninja girl. In a rework not intended as a nerf you have accidentally administered the most heavy handed nerf of the pre-season. Is anybody there?!?!!? Does anybody care?!!?!? Does anybody see what I see?!?!?
