Add a 1 second cooldown on items after changing their item slot
I really didn't mean to drink that potion a split second after I moved it to the second item slot.

Doesn't even have to be 1 sec. 0.25 sec would do the job. Basically you just need to add an unnoticable cd to make it not activate on double clicks. While it's been a long while since I've had issues with this, I remember when I had my old mouse, it often double-clicked automatically.
I think forcing a 1 second cooldown would be too much of a possible hindrance. A better idea would be making it an option in the settings for players who think they need it.
I do that alot.. idk if its lol are my mouse but i ALWAYS use my zhonyas instantly even if i move the other thing first so znónyas shouldnt be touched then its like my mouse double clicks after i releases the mouse :P sooo gud idea
Great suggestion! I've had a couple instances of activating Zhonya's right after I buy it and a couple accidental potion uses. All which wouldn't have happened if this were implemented.
wow, is this needed... if anything i would think a cd on item movement would be terrible.....
im moving to lane, changing the item position on my heal and mana pots with my boots to be closer to my finger and bam... 1 sec cd as my adc and jg engage 1 sec before i get there and the enemy jg comes out of our jg to flank...

I always prefer to have my 
on my "2" key (idk why, I just always seem to mash that button best.)
and there are many times when I'm trying to hit it, realize it's in the wrong place, and quickly drag it over. (why I can't just press 3, i'll never know)
But instead of it being a useful function for using pots, it'd be a punishment for me not realizing it dropped into the right spot when I purchased it. idk. I don't like it
