[Re post] Let's talk about the whole rune system ..

The whole rune system ain't fair at all. It is supposed to be fair for everybody, but it ain't really. Especially for new players. But if we take away new players and take a look in the whole Tier 3 rune system, what problems can we find? First of all - the price, of course. It might look fair at first sight when we notice that runes can be bought only with IP and not RP, which makes it fair for both RP buyers and non-RP buyers. Right? ... Wrong.
The Influence points "IP" are used to buy champions, which is core to the gameplay. You can't play the game with a few champions, you need many champs, many roles and many lanes. What is also true is that champions can also be purchased with RP. What does that mean? It means that people who buy RP can purchase the champions they need with RP and use their IP only to buy runes. Non-Rp buyers though must use their IP for runes AND champions. Which makes it much harder to catch up.
Rune pages? Same story. With 6300 IP you can buy more than 7 champions from different prices. For RP buyers? Well with 590 RP you can buy only like 1 champion, 2 at most. So you don't lose that much. So this still isn't fair here.
So League of Legends as an official sport in some countries and the most played worldwide online game, should be the most fair game ever, not Pay 2 Win. While Riot is causing the illusion that the game is completely fair and not Pay-2-Win, and RP is only for cosmetics (skins, icons etc.) It's actually far more than that. It gives you advantage.
What does that mean? Simple - the whole rune system ain't fair at all. I stated the reasons above. I know many people will tell me that this is the point of game development - business and money. Well yeah, but League of Legends is not just an ordinary game. It's a HUGE community. And in a huge community, everybody should be satisfied. Masteries might be a little bit unfair to low-level players, but as soon as they reach level 30, it's all fine. With runes it's not the same. They aren't free. Masteries are a strategic choice. Runes should be too, but are they? Not really. For example I want to buy a rune for 1.5 % life steal, then I notice it costs 2050. So I forget about it and go to buy another, cheaper rune. So I can't really use my rune strategy, instead I rather stick to the cheap solution and do an ordinary rune page like everybody else.
So what's the solution? I know that making runes free will never happen. But I really do believe lowering rune price will be good for everybody. Probably like 50% for each rune type. I'm not saying that this will make it fair, but at least it won't be that unfair. Lowering Rune Page price is also good.
If you agree with me and want the rune price lowered, and the whole system fairer, make sure to up vote this discussion, so Riot might notice it. Thanks a lot.
