Riot it would not be hard to speed up pick ban phase and increase the number of bans

Here is an example

15 seconds to show which side you are on, position and then select preferred champ First ban phase: first, second and third pick on each team get to ban a champ at the same time. 30 seconds Blue team picks 1 30 seconds Red team picks 2 30 seconds Blue Team picks 1 30 seconds Ban Phase 2: forth and fifth pick on each team get to ban a champ 30 seconds Blue team picks 1 30 seconds Red team pick 2 30 seconds Blue team picks 2 30 seconds Red team picks 1 30 seconds 30 seconds to make adjustments

Total of 5:15 minutes max if everyone waits out the timer. This is assuming that everyone is actually waiting out the time but since many lock in early pick ban phase will often be less then 4 minutes.

The compression of bans to being 6 players at once and later 4 players at once cuts out 4 of the current banning periods which results in SAVING TIME!!!

The reason for spreading out the bans and not having all of them at the start is to promote banning based on enemy champs already selected. If you don't care to use that strategy then you still have 2 bans to try and screw over an enemy who has yet to pick.
