There were less than a handful of mains for old Aatrox, most were just FotM players, as he got really strong with Conqueror and a Trinity build close to his rework, so Riot didn't nerf him for it, so people just went in on the "I'm an Aatrox main" train because it was freelo.
If you guys loved him so much, why did none of you care for him before he got strong?
More fun for you, less fun for 99% of the playerbase who could tell within a few weeks of release that his kit was terrible.
New 'Trox reks Teemo. You can't tell me that's not wonderful.
