...Riot would rework the Twisted Treeline map into something that everyone could enjoy.

I mean aside from it's small community that it would be an actual competitive map which would even appeal to Esports. This way we'd have a map for fast paced actions, short games and more solo carry potential and one map for the longer games (30-50mins) for the part of the community who prefers longer games which are more teambased.

What I think about is that the TT takes some of SRs strengths like the towers which are closer to each other the closer you get to the nexus or the jungle creeps. Also It'd have different items which are cheaper so you can get powerspikes earlier. EG the same as Crit Adcs are at the moment on SR.

OFC not everyone would be happy about it here will never be the time when everyone is satisfied, but i think most players would then have their preffered environment to play in.

Much love

(sry for bad english :P)

I don't think map design is the primary issue. Riot's consistent neglect of non-SR maps and the resultant playerbase ignorance/apathy seem much more significant to me.

Riot's ignored the alternate maps/modes for about as long as they've existed. Sometimes there's a balance change or, on even rarer occasions, an actual event, but for the most part, Riot doesn't do anything with the modes. Consider that Champion Mastery tokens are still inexplicably locked to only classic SR, and Treeline was the only mode that didn't have any objectives at all in the most recent Snowdown Missions.

As a result, a large portion of the overall League playerbase considers non-SR modes as forgettable jokes. "Riot doesn't care, so why should we?" They dislike the maps despite knowing little about said maps. For instance, "ARAM is purely luck-based" or "TT 'meta' just consists of 3 bruisers." This ignorance was noticeable even back with Dominion. Up to when the mode was removed, some people were still claiming that Dominion gameplay consisted of constantly pushing minions into Windmill, despite the fact that Dominion was essentially never played that way. It'd be like judging SR gameplay without the notion of a jungler or with the misconception that teams should just constantly bash into each other in mid.

Thus, a map rework wouldn't solve Treeline's issues. It might cause some temporary interest in the map, but the situation would soon return back to the current state. Treeline needs advertisement (e.g. esports tournaments) to remove the negative stigma of the map along with frequent, regular balance changes to show that Riot does actually care about the map. Unfortunately, that's a lot of resources to spend on something that might not even successfully revitalize Treeline, given how many years the problem has lasted.
