Any thoughts on how Riot smacked AP items to the floor.......I mean it does look big. item 3089 is 200 gold more expensive, item 1058 is now cheaper but 20 AP lower. item 3157 is 20 AP lower, as well as item 3285. item 3003 got more expensive as well. Is this where the AD midlaners get the spotlight?

dcap also has a more convenient build path and the ap bonus was buffed?

this wasnt a nerf, it was a buff for the most part.

I wouldn't personally call it a "nerf" but then again that's my personal opinion Here are the advantages the AP items offer in contrast to all the downsides you've mentioned in your post

Rabadon costs more but also offers more grants 35% Ability Power Amp, instead of 30% Zhonya's Hourglass is also cheaper than it was before Luden grants 10% movement speed instead of 7% and costs less Seraph gives 20 more AP Rylai's and liandry's has become more viable and beneficial than it was for many midlaners

I actually like the changes. You can reach powerspikes slightly quicker, though they won't be as big. I think it smooths out the scaling overall.

the late game is a nerf, but mid and early game have been buffed because power spikes come quicker. It does make sense

The changes didn't really nerf them. It allowed other midlaners such as Orianna Zyra Lissandra etc, hit their powerspike earlier which they needed, but also give other Ap laners more of a diverse build path and smooth out some champions who rush an item and it is Gg
