Okay, I got a 10 game chat restriction. It was actually quite a while ago though... FAQ also tells me that, "Players who are chat or ranked restricted or currently banned from play cannot earn or unlock chests through Champion Mastery. Once they’ve reformed, they’ll be eligible for rewards again. "

Two things don't make sense to me. The first is that I no longer have a chat restriction/ranked restriction and I've never been banned. The second thing that doesn't make sense to me is that I'm told "once they've reformed."

Typical thin-skinned, hyper-sensitive people that probably had a hand in implementing the reporting/banning system in the first place. IIRC, they did this with end of season rewards as well. "Reformed" you say? Well... care to elaborate? Perhaps there is a certain time period without offense? Or maybe it is after the the friggen reprimand has been completed???? Christ man, it's like the blind leading the blind.

I am having the same issue. There has been NOTHING said about previous restrictions affecting the loot system, and that is a huge fault on Riot's part. We're all left wondering if we will ever get loot now. What's going on Riot? Someone, please tell us what the situation is. Thank you.

Yea, so i have been rude and whatnot multiple times, which i know i shouldn't have but sometime's it is hard especially when someone else is flaming at you. I have served all the punishments dished out by Riot, so you would think i wouldn't continue to be punished. I have been playing since season 1, and i have also put hundreds and hundreds of dollars into Riot, on league alone. But to be "banned" completely from getting these chests and keys and whatnot, well it is extremely discouraging to ever want to continue with league again. If this issue still insists on being permanent, I'm afraid you will lose not only my support with your company, but countless other league players. Get this fixed please. Or hello Smite, Dota2, and Paragon, they will be getting my money henceforth.

Lol I get it now. 1 thing I learned about League is that you just need to mute everyone when you start the game. /mute all helps a lot. You will never get banned for playing so xxxxed up but you get banned for telling them not to throw but they are so stubborn to listen even if you were nice to them. That's why I just go Jungle and don't even gank anyone and farm for the entire game and ONLY look for the last hit chance of gank to get kills. Bronze/Silver are so bad + stubborn. It would be nice if they are so bad at this game, they should at least be listening to the team but they don't.

For an example, I get like 7/0 with adc at the start of the game and I am so fed. At mid game, if one out of 4 members dont listen to me, I just go farm for the entire game and don't gather up at all until the game ends. I did this like to more than 20 games. People get so mad but I just mute them so that I don't get rage. If you do this, about 15/20 games your game will be flipped. I just tell people once, "Please listen or else I am done playing for the team." Then when they talk shxt at me or don't listen. I stop playing for the team and farm the jg

I've had the same issue and I'm really scared of what happens next, if Riot decides that the ones that got punished can't EVER get chests or keys because of a while ago when they had a chat restriction, that would be crap honestly. Anyway, I'd like to get an explanation about this and help us out.

I believe this is something RIOT should be putting more attention towards. For there to not be a red post on here already is very sad. I have been chat restricted and banned multiple times. I was banned for 1 week and then right after I played 1 game got 2 more weeks.... weird thing is... I played with my chat off. So that would mean at the end when people just flame you then convince others to report you, you may find yourself banned. This is very sad cause it pretty much gives toxic people a weapon. At first I figured no big deal because I don't chat really as it is but... now this? This is heartbreaking. It feels like I am being mistreated and thrown into a group out of the normal crowed. As if I am being labeled a criminal. To hear your friends talk with glee about their S ranking and points towards skins and then having to sit there with your S ranking and get nothing? RIOT I want this to be clear. I do NOT agree with this. As a fan and a player I am very sad. Not angry. Just a lot of disappointment and sadness. @Riot

I emailed about this. I asked how long it would take before I could get rewards. This was my reply:

When a player completes their behavioral initiative, it doesn't necessarily mean that they have climbed down the escalation path right away. We have a compendium that goes into more detail about how these initiatives and levels of escalation work: https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/207489286 It's possible for the account's negative standing to reduce as you continue to play consistently without behavioral occurrences. While time is considered, we emphasis more over games played. For example, if you decide to take an extended break without any games in between, then the standing you left with would be the same as when you return.

Umm i wanted to ask will i be able to reform if i don't even type in chat? ( i got 10 game chat ban) , am i forced to say gg hf every game or what? Will it count as reforming if i don't type? And if im not mistaking 10 game restriction lasts for 1 month right? Can you somehow get reformed earlier, since some people say they get reformed days or weeks after the suspension.

When you become eligible for rewards is completely random, it doesn't actually have anything to do with whether Riot believes you are "reformed" or not.

But still, the client is seriously bugged. whenever i launch a game i automatically disconnect and once when i was qeueing i didn't even enter the champ select until the last 5 seconds.
