Why does a game the gets remaked count towards your autofill protected games?
Its kinda triggering
Its kinda triggering
Because in the same light if you get remaked from a game where you were filled you also get protected.
It's likely because the fill protection and queue related aspects of the system are separate from the game itself, and once the drafting/picking is completed the queue system no longer takes over. This is actually a good thing from a design standpoint, as it keeps coding from the main client somewhat separate from the in-game play but it does lead to things like this.
Not saying if its should or not, but as to why...
The game searches all the players in a que of similar MMR and also tries to factor in requested roles.
Now when it can put a few matches together, it tries to do so without autofilling anyone. When it cant, and its been trying for too long it just goes ahead and autofills some poor soul.
Now when youre autofill protected, and you qued mid/jg, and so did like 100 other people, it cant match you guys together.
Here is the thing. The system flags you as autofill protected, and that protection in the match making system unflags you once a lobby is made. It doesnt count the fact that that lobby may not have proceeded to a match or not.
So if that lobby is dodged, you are now back into the "wild" match making without your protection. It comes down to flaging for autofill protection only lasting till your matched.
i should have emphasized that i meant when the game cancels 2 minutes in because the enemy team had an afk
Probably because they count as auto fills too.
