PermaBan Kat in ARAM?

ARAM was made for players to have fun and cool down, but Katarina kind of defeats the purpose of that. The second I see a Katarina on the enemy team during the load screen I just know that I'm going to be wasting the next 20 minutes in a black and white screen. Katarina also requires almost minimal skill to play thus allowing even first timers to get pentakills. Some may argue that hard cc counters Kat in ARAM but I don't see how anyone can cc her when she can just steamroll through every at level 3. Not sure if I'm the only one feeling this or other people feel the same way. Leave thoughts below? item 3070 item 3070 item 3070 item 3070 item 3070

It's like fizz, just know the range of her gapcloser and play around it.

Unfortunately for ARAM fans (myself included) riot is never going to balance for Howling Abyss over Summoners Rift. Some champions are so gimped in ARAM that they require a completely different style to be even remotely useful (Nasus generally becomes AP for example)

But if riot were to change balance for ARAM it would spillover into SR, and vice versa as we experience constantly.

Kata is extremely vulnerable to hard CC however. GG if you don't roll any, but if you do and they play half decently she's not overly terrible.

The problems are because Kata takes relatively little experience to execute and relatively high experience to counter. In a gamemode where you have a relatively high chance of not fully understanding your champion or not having very much experience on them, this imbalance is exacerbated meaning Kata gets to face roll on you while you're sat going "how does Lissandra's E work again?"

TL;DR: ARAM is inherently unbalanced, and it's not important enough for Riot to care.
