Ways to Wreck Yasuo

If you're honest with yourself, you probably hate and get beat by Yasuo because you choose a champ that will display your leet ggwp mechanix. In fact it's not just Yasuo, but usually when people are complaining about a champ being OP it's because they can't beat that champ with one of their mains, and in all likelihood your best champs are very similar to one another hence why you are a mid or jungle main etc.

Examples: Enemy Yasuo top You pick Garen/Darius/Fiora/Gnar and get out poked in the early game then Yas roams and spirals.

So I ask you: why the fuck didn't you just pick Graves/Vayne/Karma basically any ranged champ with dash or cc farm for a distance and poke him down into oblivion? Ever heard of a lane swap? Or team up with your jungler to counter jungle enemy and get picks and buffs that way. My point is, regardless of a champions kit there will ALWAYS be ways to counter him. Maybe it's not the way you intended to play that match or you wanted to play whose cock is bigger with the enemy Yasuo, but Yasuo like all other champs have so many direct and indirect counter options that to say they are OP and nag Riot each week about debuffs is retarded. Riot does enough champion tweaking, why don't you try tweaking your strategy and maybe you'll find that these OP champs aren't so OP after all.

counterpicking is not counterplay.. this isn't a declaration so much as a quote, and an important one. In some sense couterpicking is not counterplay. However that doesn't imply there is no counterplay. But it does answer your question, why didn't I just pick graves? Because I don't want to, luckily yasuo has counterplay

What yasuo has sums up to evasion or some equivalent. Evasion has been a weird subject in mobas just like how tanks in mobas are different from tanks anywhere else. Yasuo's windwall and shield are both forms of evasion as are his dashes. If you've ever played any mmos there are always some sorts of melee types that function using evasion. The problem here is that they aren't so restricted item-effect-wise and people aren't used to it.

I myself used to have some trouble against yasuo until I realized that as ahri I did better against him with cdr and mana then I did with armor and AP. The reason is because yasuo is vulnerable in windows just like an elusive mmo assassin that's used up his evasion skills either by mistake or because you forced him to with power plays. From you can proceed to lock him down with resources, pursue and destroy, or just chunk him down and get ready for another round of doing the same.
