Jungle Starting Items
Really do not know what to title this. The idea is having 3 items for 4 main classes of champions (attack damage and on-hit/basic attackers overlap, not enough basic attack only junglers to justify their own item and they are attack damage champions as well anyways); one is for physical damage dealers, magic damage dealers specifically mages, and one for tanks. All the items build into the same things whether it is a mini sightstone or upgraded smites into Attack Damage, Ability Power, Health, or On-Hit [the enchantments]; so things can be balanced around if a class of champions are too good in the jungle early you can tone back their jungle item or too weak then you can buff them up, just in case you need to balance a bunch of champions rather than making changes directly to multiple champions of the class at the same time.
This set up will be good to allow a lot more mage junglers to join the scene, and not just the currently known ones, by giving them their item a lot more power (jungle only power) on the initial item to help them clear at the start of the game before they get to level 4 and at the weakest point for a mage. Meanwhile tanks can get an item that helps them survive the early clear and then transition into jungle damage later without building damage (they are tanks, they don't build damage). While the attack damage and basic attackers will have the weakest jungle item since innately they are the strongest jungle clearers (attack damage being the most efficient stat).
I will move on to my ideas, and give numbers for a better feel to what I am trying to get out, remember values can easily be adjusted which is why the system is good because it leads to easy balancing for the long term.
Reminder: Jungle items is only one per champion and requires Smite. Only the Machete One grants the 15 bonus experience on large monsters and 30 bonus experience for Machete Two; also names are placeholders. Machete Two is the tier with the upgraded Smites or mini sightstone, and where you can upgrade into the stat enchantment of your choosing.
