There are several other champions these are just the most notable for me.

Currently the philosophy for champions that scale very well is don't let them get to the late game.

The burden is on the opponent of these champions to stop them.

Playing against these champions is stressful. One mishap and the snowball has begun and there isn't a point in the game after where they will be weaker.

Playing these champions can be forgiving. yes some have difficult mechanics and that is a gate to their power in some situations. At the same time It is common to see these champs go 0/1/0, 0/2/0, have large CS deficits and then dominate the game after that.

they have so much inherent power after a certain point. I believe the burden should rest on the player of these champions to get to that late game state rather than on their opponents to keep it from happening.
