Why do people troll in ranked and is there anything we can do about it? Is Riot doing anything to stop these players? Just because a player is not 0/22/1 does not mean they aren't trolling. So tired of playing ranked games that are one sided. Every game is either my team trolls and we go 3/33 or the enemy team trolls and we go 33/3. Why are there so many trolls and throwers in ranked.
Why ? because they have a mental disorder that makes them feel enjoyment or pleasure when they make other people feel bad .
Is riot doing anything to stop them ? Nope , riot only cares about trigger words in chat because they can just let their bots do the job instead of putting actual ressources into making their solo queue a least worse place .
The system doesn't have a way to filter what is troll and what is a new player. BUT that being said... if it's like Silver 2 elo where supposedly every fresh account's MMR is silver 2... They need to revisit this "fresh account MMR" so that it's not entirely ruining someone who climbed to silver 2 with 200 games and wants to play with silver 2 and NOT with players who are ranking for the first time.
As for the trolls, Riot just needs to have a more complicated algorithm that can pinpoint someone's chat behavior with their scores and activities in the match being played. Just like the report system but they also go another step to investigating the account for troll... BUT this is more man power and Riot doesn't have the 'money' for it. LOL they're pocketing the majority already.
There are many reasons why people troll. There will be an increase in troll behavior once Riot reveals the end of season 8 ranked rewards. So, stay vigilant out there in the solo queue realm. Random teammates will try their best to prevent you from promoting and also try to demote you.
I have a feeling those ranked rewards will be revealed tomorrow or in a few days.
