How to make stealth healthy and fun!:!

I'm here to share my thoughts on how stealth can be made into something interactive and fun. I love the idea of having stealth as a mechanic and it could make a simpel and boring kit into something interesting and diverse.
How to kind of fix stealth:
When a champion uses stealth they go into an extremely transparent mode that only the most careful and skilled players would be able to detect. This makes it impossible for a champ to just vanish when being attacked, leaving the enemy team with a bitter taste of salt. He would still be targetable but really hard to see, like 3% opacity.
This would solve quite a few of the designflaws with stealth, what do you guys think?
Another thing I've thought about, is the problems surounding rengar's ult, this is what I've got:
Make it so that his ult isn't a point and click jump that is locked to the target. I would much rather make it so that the first time rengar presses R he goes into stealth and the next time he presses R he will jump to the location of his mouse cursor. There should be a better version of the "!" indicator. It could change colors depending on rengars distance from an enemy. This would make rangar able to use his ult as an escape and it would also give rengars target enough time to react as he jumps out of no where. If they're fast enough they could dodge him all together with flash or another mobility spell. Maybe rengars ult should get some sort of base splash damage to make up for the new counterplay.
What do you guys think about these conecepts? I've wasted way to much time thinking about this, probably a lot more than what I should have, heh. Thanks for reading trough.
