Hello, I am currently at challenger 141 lp, and I am here, extremely annoyed by this new champ select. With the old one, I would get 5 minute queues and get my role 90% of the time, because people in this elo know each other and what they can do. Now, I'm getting my role maybe 65% of the time and these obnoxious queue times like this link up here along with 10% of the time against a full LCS team. I literally can't play a game due to the queue times.

Solution? PLEASE make it where if you are ranked master or higher you get the old champion select. The new one is only being used because of lower elo players and their problems, but completely screws over high elo players since there is a lack of players.

Again, the roles being selected before each match is completely useless in this elo, because people know each other anyways and give their role up.

I've also never heard a streamer like Meteos say one positive thing about these new champion select, mainly because of these queue times that are easily avoidable for high elo....please riot

Why hasn't this been answered yet? The answer may be:

"Hey there Unknown Jungler!

We're sorry that you've been experiencing this problem, & understand that this can really stop you from doing something you enjoy. We've taken notice of this as well, & have been trying to find a better way of going about it. I know I'd hate to wait 90 minutes to find a match, but what you could try is restarting the search, & it may just get you into a match sooner. With our numbers, & coding that we can't exactly explain at this moment, & the problems that have risen up from the new champion selection, we are working on this problem, along with anything else that manages to pop up.

So far we've been able to make the new champion select live once again, but feel there could still potentially be issues that we are looking into such as the constant dodges, & players not locking in. I do apologize for the trouble you've encountered. It should never take this long to find a match, & I'll bring this up with the other rioters, & we will get back to you.

The system is also matching a group of solo players vs teams still. In the past 8 games I've played trying to get back to silver, I've been against teams consisting of 2-4 people and no one on my team were in groups based on the questions I've asked them.

While the Solo player vs Team thing is unfortunately natural in that high ranked due to the significantly decreased pool of players in Challenger, those queue times are unacceptable. That is pretty stupid. I could watch a movie with that time.

I think I read that Riot would activate Solo/Duo Queue for those who doesnt want to go Dynamic in a future. I'm definitely waiting for this. I'm usually solo when ranking and I hate the new Dynamic poop. Full solo team vs 5 premade, I'm honestly thinking that Riot is lacking smart people on their team. (Specially the balancing team, see Xin buffs)

Hopefully, when they add true solo queue, it will cut down on queue times. However, I have no idea when it's coming. We already surpassed the initial intended roll out for it cause dynamic queue crashed and ate up developer resources.

If position does not matter at the higher elo then wouldn't it speed things up if you all chose fill as your primary role? Then once in champ select just told everyone what role you planned on playing and ignore the role given to you?

In every game I have played in the last two days, I have not got my primary role (jungle) even once. I get stuck into bottom lane every time. Every game is either with a 4-man premade that refuses to communicate or against a pre-made, and we get curb stomped.

Dynamic Queue sucks ass. I am no longer playing it. Not in placements, not in normal draft. 100% Blind Pick until an actual solo queue is reinstated. I am also voting with my wallet by refusing to buy anything with cash until an actual solo queue is reinstated.

You're in Challenger, and you don't know that sometimes a que will go stale? Every single format does that on occasion. You just get lost in translation (so to speak) between queing up and finding an actual game. The solution is pretty complicated. You have to leave que, and then que up again. In fact, this is something that frequently occurs in games that require waiting in a que for other players online to be put into a game with you. More so on computers than consoles because there are more factors. First world problems OP
