8.7 - Minion Dematerializer is going to be Meta.

Hi Team,

To start, I am a support main, so this conversation will start from a support perspective on Targon's:

I know the patch notes show a nerf for Targon's passive gold, but I am arguing the item received change of power due to minion gold changes.

Specifically, using Minion Dematerializer in lane now with siege minions.

Siege minion is 60 gold + 3 gold every 3 waves.

60+63+66+69+72+75 = is 405 guaranteed gold in lane towards completing your item.

Just seeing what the community thinks of this interaction? Does is strengthen the early game for supports?

Will this make it more of an option for characters who normally wouldn't take Targon's?

Overall, do you feel with the siege minion change, dematerializer will be standard in lanes such as top?

I can see it being standard in hard match ups where it's too dangerous for people to get the cannon minion without being forced to take heavy damage.

Off topic. But it looks like janglers will fall behind laners, because there were no changes to jungle creatures. I only jungle and this makes me sad...

Personally, I've always considered the Minion Dematerializer as an item for people who didn't know how to farm well. I could see it being used on someone who is in a tough matchup, tho. However, in my opinion, I feel like it's a rune that does nothing once completely used and prefer to use runes with permanent effect. I realize that gold is permanent but I'm a pretty decent farmer and am not worried about missing too many minions or cannons.
