IMO the biggest deciding factor over what ADC you should play depends on if you want a powerful midgame or lategame. Some bursty adc's like Corki, Lucian, and Graves excel at the midgame, but fall off late compared to a Vayne, Twitch or Jinx.
Ashe should be played to counter enemy champions that don't hold well when exposed to sustained damage, and generally paired with a support such as thresh or Blitzcrank, who can pull the enemy in and keep them within range of fire. Kog'maw should be played against opponents with short range attacks and high damage, such as Vayne, or skillshot based champions, like Ezreal, to keep their harass and poke potential low while giving you the chance to poke them out of lane, and work well with champions such as Soraka, who gives him high sustain if he DOES get attacked. Corki is a champion that i don't often see, and thus I don't quite know his strengths or weaknesses. Tristana should be used against champions with low escape potential, such as Ashe, and works well with tanky supports who keep the damage from reaching her, like Leona and Braum. Twitch and Ashe are similar in their damage style, though twitch can escape more easily and uses poison rather than slow to apply sustained damage. He also works well with a support that can lock the enemy in combat, and has great synergy with Braum, as Twitch benefits from attack speed and Braum's main offensive power comes from stacking his passive with his allies' basic attacks.
