@ Riot - Do you have any plans to improve the quality of solo/duo ranked play?

Is there anything planned that will attempt to tackle some of the issues that accompany playing a very team reliant game with randoms?

This is quite possibly one of the most team dependent games that is popular today. To even try to discuss all the team reliant aspects of the game would be a tl;dr from hell. This is what makes the lcs fun to watch because you can see what is possible when a team is working together at the top level.

However, this means that there is inherently a number of issues that make solo q ranked play often undesirable. Afk's, trolls, lack of communication, vastly different tactics, unfulfilled expectations, etc. etc. If I were to be entirely honest, more often than not, ranked games are pretty difficult to enjoy.

So my question is there anything in the works to adapt the game for a solo q player? Obviously the game can't be changed on a whole to conform it to solo q as that would undermine the entire premise of the game itself. But is there anything being talked about that will specifically for solo q to mitigate some of the problems that are incurred when playing a team game with a bunch of strangers?

I'm not saying I have any solutions for any of the issues, I'm just curious to find out if anyone is looking for solutions at the moment or if we just kind of have to accept that a team game played without a team is going to be a little messy?
