I actually really like Rek'Sai

I bought her right when she came out, and I've played a few games with her in normals, ranked 5s and even solo queue. In all of these modes, I felt her to be a great pick that helps the team a ton while also having serious solo carry potential. She feels great, and this is the first time since Yasuo that I instantly picked up and loved a champ.

I really enjoy the concept of the tunnels, and how much mobility they can provide while also not being some point-and-click escape. (Should I make a Lee Sin joke?) They can be used early to help you move around your jungle faster to stack up the devourer, and can be used to get under someone quickly for a knock up during a gank. In the later stages of the game, they can be placed offensively in the enemy jungle and near objectives to be places you can ult, and places where you can dip in and out of an area or even a fight quickly. Going from one side of your jungle to the other at mach speed is incredibly satisfying.

Her burrow mechanic is really fun to use, and the tremor sense that comes along with it is a unique way to stay safe while invading or in your own jungle. Also, in a teamfight, I love being able to start a fight, then quickly dip out while regenerating some of my health before popping back from underground to fight again.

I do see some problems though, mainly her Q in her burrowed form. I know this is a way to gain vision of someone you've caught with your tremor sense, but I think this needs to have some stickiness or another mechanic on it. Probably not a slow, because that would make it too good for escaping. Maybe some speed boost mechanic while moving towards and enemy tagged with it (like vayne passive.) I would talk about her early game damage being a bit overwhelming, but compared to the other fighters in the game, it isn't too high.

That's pretty much all I wanted to say. GJ Riot for releasing a fun and engaging champion that is quite tactical with map pressure and requires some degree of skill, while still not being overloaded.

As someone who has played her since she came out, and went almost univerally positive in every game with her (save for 3, and I still went positive in a 3v5 (we were the 3) where I literally had more kills than my team had combined assists). I love her, she synergizes with my playstyle, it's great.

Don't buff her.

Lower the AP scaling on her burrowed Q to prolly 70%.

Outside of that? She's in a good place. Very powerful early game, great duelist, who sometime in the late mid-late game turns into a map pressure and objective control person. She has easily become one of my favorite champions.

I agree, I thought Prey Seeker had a slow attached to it but it didn't, and judging from the scaling it isn't a damage dealer either: it looks pretty underwhelming.

But then she is technically dual-kit and has no resource management problems so I'm iffy about putting buffs on her.

You are doing something that happens every time a champion is released - buffs pls. NO. Please, don't get Rek'Sai buffed. She's on the overpowered side already. I have played a ton of games as Rek'Sai on the PBE and Live and have about 80% winrate with her. She's almost as well rounded as Lee Sin.

You are asking to buff a champion that already can exceed Lee Sin's mobility while having better clears and sustain - that speaks for itself.

They have to do something about her burrowed Q. Right now she gets kited for days and hitting a Q won't make any difference. Also, remove the AP scaling, do they seriously expect you to build AP items on her because of that one high cooldown ability that doesn't do shit?

Put a slow on it or a speed buff on herself when she hits it. She needs some real sticking power.

Ok, seeing people hit up Prey Seeker. Super long range, 100% AP ratio scaling. http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/Rek%27Sai

There are two play styles to her.

First is the recommended build- build AD and devourer, full glass- gank things instantly. Later in the game, be a sweeper because you can't join in teamfights without melting. Use un-burrowed Q and E to pump instant damage and auto attack resets. Use tunnels to engage/disengage.

Second is the AP build- yes, its just prey seeker. Build ap, do moderate damage at the beginning, do massive damage later. Late game monster snipage. Use burrowed Q to harry enemy laners instead of full blown ganks- this allows them to build up cs at the expense of the enemy laner. Since you can snipe from within enemy jungle, you can make them CONSTANTLY worry if you are nearby so long as you pay plenty of visits- isn't it great that those jungle camps now take so long to respawn ^^? Range is as long or longer than Morgana's Q. During teamfights, use yourself as bait (by now they know you chunk them for much damage). Bring them to a zone where you have plenty of tunnels so that you can kite them completely with tremor sense while your team keeps their attention.

TL;DR? AD is straightforward and fun, AP is more involved but hilarious. Please don't change Prey Seeker at all rito. I have many people who followed my lead, we enjoy AP/cdr Rek. A lot.

The only change I think they should do is Prey Seeker applying on hit effects, excluding lifesteal.

While it wouldn't provide an early-mid game slow on her, it would allow you to opt into it, or other methods of getting up close and personal, with things like Iceborn and Frozen Mallet. To go with it, you could drop the AP ratio by like 50%, so that you don't have the hyper-annoying Nid'esque build of full AP, but they could build Lichbane to get at least the single target damage of it back plus some more if they did still want to go it.
