Is it just me or are these changes completely overshadowing the new champ

I find myself caring about Illaoi muuuuuch less because I can't play the damn game anymore without getting frustrated. I feel like I would be much more excited (because she does look cool) if there wasn't so much negativity going on within league and it's gameplay right now.
