I was autofilled recently for the first time in a long time

I can't remember the last time I was auto filled but it happened recently and I was shocked that I was getting auto filled in gold elo. Autofill was something I always thought of being high elo a issue like Diamond+. So when I got auto filled I knew the situation was bad. To be blunt, playing support sucks for the majority players. To be clear I know how to play support, I JUST HATE THE ROLE. My ADC doesn't know how to lane, my lane just became extra hard and I can't do anything about it because that is on my ADC. Enemy mid, top, and/or jg are ganking/pressuring bot and mine aren't following up or putting pressure elsewhere then my role just became super anti-fun. Enemy mid, jg, or top gets fed and yours is a feed lord? Good luck stopping that since you do no damage, under leveled, and have less gold. I hate the vision game. I understand its importance and how effective it is at winning games buts its just so boring. I view it as a necessary evil to dramatically increase and secure wins but its still so BORING. But say your ADC knows how to lane and your team knows how to follow/counter pressure, and no one feeds. Then the role feels so BRAIN DEAD to play. Ward here, clear this, CC that, peel this and engage that (the only part I actually enjoy doing as support). Congratulations you just became a challenger support. If Riot changed some or all of these things I really think more people would play support.
