Lee Sin and Hourglass
I've seen some videos on youtube where Lee Sin players take zhonyas as one of their core items, can someone please tell me why they do that and if I should too?

Honestly, it's just for play making and disrespect.
In terms of playmaking, it's really good if you're gonna insec or scubacris someone. Pop 
after you kick them, and the enemy team can't focus you, letting your team follow up. Especially if your team's a little slow on reaction, it gives them 2.5 seconds to make a move.
For disrespect, if you're following on the 2nd q and pop it looks absolutely hilarious. You might not score the kill because of the stasis, but it looks dope, and shows you don't care enough to kill the enemy.
Its less about stats, and more of showing off.
Zhonya's instantly after a kick looks pretty cool, and also using it as your Q'ing in is just maximum disrespect.
