I always duo with my friend when we play ranked (mid/jungle) and we always win every time when we face against a Zed. Is it because only Zed's in high elo are considered good? Because the Zed's we play WITH and AGAINST in Platinum and lower are terrible.
Not really, people just dont' like him.
its because he is so broken that shit players can climb to plat on him.
The main problem is that he basically bullies a lot of champions out of mid lane by his presence. You can't pick (large subset of mages) when Zed is open because you'll just have a nightmare lane against him.
He's actually overpowered too, but that's nowhere near as a huge a deal as his binary matchups and the fact that he is really unfun to play against.
It's just that people don't know how to play against him and then cry. Whenever I see Zed I giggle with joy because 90% of the time it means that the lane will win itself. Zed players are overconfident and predictable, they shove the lane or (the smarter ones) try to stall it, their poke is easy to doge if your response time is better than eldery bulldog. Whenever he ults just point your cc ability behind you and he's yours. People just want to cry for nerfs because they refuse to accept that they're just shit, it's better to say that the champion is op.
