What if his rework made him a Terraformer / Anti AD Tank? That would be a pretty unique niche for him while still being Anti AD.

Example for an ult:

Malphite paves his way through the ground in front of him quickly, creating a wall of terrain on each side of him for 4 seconds, dealing 200/300/400 (+1.0 AP) Magic Damage and knocking up all enemies in his path for 0.75 seconds.
